There is an abundance of edible wild plants to be found all around us. They can be found in fields, meadows, woods and forests, roadsides, hedgerows, gardens and even cracks in walls, roads and sidewalks/pavements. But knowing which plants are edible and which are not is important. Many wild plants are toxic, and some are deadly. So being able to correctly identify them is essential.

Our free Edible Wild Plants app contains an in-app database (no internet connection needed) with over 40 commonly found wild plants that you can eat. With easy swipe navigation, user bookmarks, and a complete linked index of common and botanical names, each plant comes with images, a botanical description, where they can be found, and which parts of the plant are edible. We've also included our plant edibility testing guide for our survivalist friends.
